• Lawyer Charles Mugane has insisted his client Fatxo is willing to cooperate with the sleuths.
• He is a person of interest in the death of Jeff Mwathi.
City Lawyer Ahmed Nasir has told off Fatxo's lawyer saying he is a 3rd grade representative.
This is because Fatxo has been the one doing most of the talking despite the severity of the case against him.
Through his twitter account, Nasir captioned
"I really don't get those calling for dialogue between President @WilliamsRuto and Hon @RailaOdinga. What will they talk about...the weather? Arsenal winning the Premier League? A young lady using the "F" word against JAKAKIMBA? Or DJ Fatxo and his 3rd rate Kampala trained lawyer?"
Fatxo is being represented by lawyer Charles Mugane who has been consistent that his client was obedient and a good citizen who had honoured all summons and fully cooperated with officers probing Mwathi's death.
The Mugithi artist had earlier been corrected by criminal lawyer Cliff Ombeta.
"You're supposed to be quiet at this moment. Nil by mouth. Anything you say now is dangerous to you or your defence. Don't give cops ground to contradict or investigate. Let your lawyer speak. You can always deny what he says. "Misquoted" always helps," counseled Ombeta in a tweet.
On Friday, Fatxo who is a person of interest in Mwathi’s death addressed the media briefly after homicide detectives visited his house in Redwood Apartments, Thika Road.
“I know that you love me and I know all of us want to know the truth and we believe that justice will prevail and my management will give you a date so that we sit and talk at large.

The Mugithi singer promised to schedule a day to speak to Kenyans about the matter even as he exuded confidence that the challenge will pass.
It is alleged that Mwathi fell from the 10th floor of Redwood Apartments along Thika Road where the DJ lives.
The circumstances under which he died are still unclear. It is said he was with a group of friends partying.
Reports show the victim had spent the day with the popular DJ.
Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, homicide department visited the apartment on Friday.
