Otile was robbed in January in Tanzania. He lost his valuables at the Julius Nyerere Airport.
Taking to his Instagram stories, the singer said he had lost two Mac Books and that despite reporting the incident to the police, authorities took long to cooperate. He also claimed he was denied proof from CCTV, which would have helped them find the culprit.
“So Kwenye airport ya Julius Nyerere Tanzania nimeibiwa Mac/laptop mbili ila walinzi na watoa huduma wamekataa kuchunguza kwenye CCTV wametuzungusha mda… longest night of my life… yani wanakataa kutoa huduma wakati tunaweza kutrace laptop zikiwa hapo tu karibu.. Tumetoa hadi report ya police ambayo ndio utaratibu ila wakakataa.“
“Kwani security kazi yake ni gani ikiwa hawawezi kukusaidia… Mimi kama mpenzi wa nchi ya Tanzania nimeumia sana. I need a lawyer. I would have retrieved the laptops tonight but it's like they wanted us to lose them. Sad.” Wrote Otile Brown.
