Mr. Oselu, father to Kenyan TikToker Baba Mona has praised his son for being the best version of himself.
Sharing his experience during an experience on Tuko, he shared
"We are trying to cope.
Baba Mona was my firstborn. Consolata was the fifth born. Mona wa my first grandchild.
He was a son and a half."
Adding
"I have cried so much, If tears would wake someone from the mortuary my tears would. God has done his will.
It is he who gave me those kids and now he has taken them.
When I want to cry, I hide somewhere because they do not want to see me cry. It is so painful to lose four family members at once."
Mzee says he became concerned after his wife informed him she had tried calling Baba Mona and his sisters and no one was picking up.
"When mama called me and asked me whether they had arrived and told her no.
She told me she had tried calling and no one was picking up.
I called my daughter Belinda and her phone was off, I called my other daughter the first time no one picked up.
The second time the police picked up and told me they had been involved in an accident.
I just took a boda boda to the accident scene.
I went straight to the hospital side and the watchman casually told me to go to the mortuary side.
That is when I learned all four had died. "
Mzee Oselu says that his wife is not in a good condition after learning of the deaths.
"My wife was in Nairobi, She was told the kids were injured.
We wanted to tell her the kids had died when she got home.
While on her way back a passenger was scrolling her phone and saw 'RIP baba Mona' that is how she learned of the death.
She cried from Nairobi to here.
She is not in a good condition, we have hired a counselor."
