Ex-Selina actor Lenana Kariba and his wife are expectant with their first child together. The parents to be announced the good news to their fans through his Instagram page over the weekend.
In a recent Q and A session with his fans on his Instagram page, the father-to-be revealed that he is two years younger than his wife.
"I am 34 and wifey is 36 years," he said.
Another fan asked when the couple is due. Kariba explained that his wife is 28 weeks and that they are due in May.
On when they discovered they were pregnant, Kariba said just before they went to Mauritius at the end of September 2022.
"So we had a very different holiday to the one we had initially planned. Wifey was having so many food aversions at this point but I made up for it but eating twice as much," he said.
The two met at a friend's house in Kileleshwa.
"Proof you never know who you will meet."
Kariba said he was overcome by emotions after she told him that she was pregnant.
"I even shed tears."
The two said they had plans to start a family but thought they would take longer than it did.
"Within two months, we had fallen pregnant," he said.
Another fan sort to know how the couple manages to travel back and forth. He said they both work and have managed to invest well and get to the position they are in today.
On how they settle their disputes as a couple, he said they never sleep on a dispute.
He added that choosing the person every day even if your opinion differs on a few topics and making sure you keep working on it.
"We talk everything through when we disagree and arrive to compromise."
