Albert Osule alias Soldier has shared the last moments of his Tik Toker brother Baba Mona before he died in a road accident.
The accident occurred at Tunnel Trading Centre, Kipkelion East, and according to eyewitnesses, the saloon car they were travelling in veered off the road before hitting a barrier.
Reports indicate that Oselu was headed to Awasi where he was to drop his sisters before proceeding to Kisumu.
Speaking during an interview with ... Albert revealed the car his late brother was using had been hired.
"He went and took the car and it was working but when he came home with it, it refused to work completely. He tried reviving it for like an hour.
On the day he came to take Mona, when he got here, the car refused to start."
Albert says they even thought the car had no oil something the car owner refuted.
"The car owner said the car had never given him any trouble adding that it was on a full tank.
They (Baba Mona and his daughter) were to leave at 5 but they left at six. My mum kept calling them but no one was receiving. My dad confirmed the deaths."
Eulogizing his brother, Albert said,
"Baba Mona was everybody's friend. I never even bought clothes, He always gave me his clothes."
Albert says he is still in denial about his brother's demise
"I cried till I can't anymore, I will only believe he is dead when I see him buried."
The family feels if Baba Mona had chosen not to travel on that day and had the car checked he might have been saved.
