Beryl Wanga Itindi the columnist for Eve women magazine took it to her socials to explain an incident that caused her daughter to be hospitalized in 2017.
While at home with her best nanny Beryl's daughter, unfortunately, got burnt on one of her legs by hot water leading to her daughter being admitted to Aga Khan Hospital.
The writer posted about the incident on her socials.
Later that day at the hospital she allegedly claims to have received a call from her baby daddy's mother expressing her concerns for the granddaughter as she had been informed by her son she was hospitalized.
"My son has informed me that your daughter suffered burns and he has rushed you guys to Aga Khan. I hope you know that is a huge sacrifice from a man," the mother-in-law said.
She claimed that this was the first time she was hearing the baby daddy's mother's voice because she had last seen her baby daddy when she was about three months expectant.
"Swallowing words because I did not want to be disrespectful to this beautiful woman who is innocent in all this. She probably has no idea that her son had never even met the daughter. Now she was here claiming the son had rushed us to Aga Khan. He only knew through Facebook that I was at Aga Khan since I tagged my location," Beryl posted.
Despite the situation, she claimed to have handled it with the uttermost respect.
"You should be very gentle and accommodating when talking to your past, present or future mother-in-law. You never really know," she explained.
