Jane Mukami, the fitness coach who assists women in improving their self-confidence by transforming their bodies to look good while still eating carbs shared with us the strategies that led to her 23 failed attempts in losing weight.
Yo-yo dieting was the first strategy that left her moody, irritable, and staving.
Most people tend to spend hours in the gym when starting their weight loss journey in the hopes that the more they work out the more they progress.
But on the other hand, one's muscles need to rest to prevent them from tearing which could lead to server damage.
Spending countless hours in the gym resulted in Mukami having sore muscles that made it difficult for her to walk.
Moving from one routine to the other was a strategy that caused the body transformation goddess to fail in her weight loss journey in the beginning.
"Jumping on the latest fad diet bandwagon and wasting money on a bunch of shakes, pills, detox, teas, and foods that sit in my cupboards for the next year," she explained.
If she could have understood that "Diets do not work but nutrition does," as she said, she would have saved herself from so many disappointments.
She encouraged those who are trying to lose weight, age backward and fit in a desired clothing size that it is possible.
She reminded her fans that she is living proof of someone who has been there before and yet was able to accomplish her body goals.
"Imagine being the first woman at the beach to take off your cover-up or rocking those spaghetti straps without the jiggle," the coach added.
Mukami also stressed that one can eat what one wants and still transform their body into what one wants.
All you just need to know is how to do it right.
