The last time she used a matatu was in 2009 when she had just joined University.

A fan asked Vera,

"When did you last board a matatu?

"End of 2009 in Uni as a fresher before I got my first car."

Another fan asked her which model her first car was and she said.

"A red Toyota Sera with the Wing doors."

A few months ago, another fan asked her if she has ever eaten Mutura to which she said she has never tasted it.

Vera is not the only Kenyan who has never used a matatu for a while.

A few months ago, Sandra Mbuvi made headlines after she claimed on her Instagram account that she does not eat Ugali which is not cooked with Blueband and butter to soften it.

"I don't eat Ugali. The only way I do is when it is cooked with butter or blue band."
