Tuesday, February 14, being Valentine's Day, lovers around the world have continued to celebrate and appreciate each other in different ways.
Some have gifted their lovers flowers and other precious things, others plan to take their lovers on dates, and others have sent sweet love messages to their lovers among other special actions that people have done to express their deep love to their lovers.
The boyfriend of popular Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan, Shakib Lutaaya, has not been left behind.
Shakib has used Valentine's Day to remind the mother of five about how special she is to him. "Happy Valentine's day my queen, you are a blessing to me," Shakib wrote under a picture of himself with the socialite.
Zari however has yet to send any of Valentine's messages to the 31-year-old lover as of the time of publishing this report.
Shakib's message comes despite concerns that existed about a month ago that their relationship had hit a wall.
The lovers were said to have gone their separate ways last month after not being seen together for a long time before.
The rumours spread further in late January when the two Ugandans posted cryptic messages on social media.
Zari raised concerns about her relationship with Shakib after she posted a quote that explained the dangers of lying to people close to you.
"Some people don't understand how poisonous lies can be. Lies infect and curse happy relationships until you feel sick to your stomach believing them again, No matter how much you love someone, sometimes you can't help but feel like they stole your Comfort. You are no longer comfortable because you second guess everything.
Now, trusting them is not an easy task. Now it takes effort and sometimes that's tiring," read the caption of Horacio Jones that he posted on Snapchat.
A few weeks ago however, the socialite however buried the rumours of her relationship breaking up after she posted videos of her and Shakib enjoying romantic moments together.
Shakib also assured the mother of five about his great love for her and said goodbye. "Goodbye, my love. I love you," he said. The two lovers were also seen hugging and kissing on the lips when they were at the airport.
