Lang'ata Member of Parliament (MP) Phelix Odiwour aka Jalang’o has been kicked out of the ongoing Azimio Parliamentary Group meeting in Machakos.
The MP has been forced out of the meeting over his meeting with President William Ruto at State House.
However, despite Azimio punishing the MP for his actions he has made it clear that he will not apologize for meeting President Ruto without his party’s approval.
"I feel bad that I have been kicked out of the meeting. I'm still in Azimio and ODM. I will not apologise for meeting with President (Ruto) on development issues," Jalang'o said.
The MP was kicked out of the meeting at a time Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga, and Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka had arrived at the venue.
The Azimio parliamentary meeting will be chaired by Odinga and other Azimio leaders.
