Diamond's new tune 'Zuwena' clocks 1M views in just 11 hours

In 2023, the singer has already released three songs; Yatapita, My Baby, and Zuwena.

Singer Diamond Platnumz is in a celebratory mood after his newest tune Zuwena clocked 1 million views within 11 hours of being uploaded on YouTube.

This is a continuation of Diamond’s dominance in the music industry as just the other dad his first single in 2023, Yatapita accumulated a million views in 17 hours.

However, the singer is yet to break his own record set by his 2020 hit Waah featuring Congolese superstar Koffi Olomide. The song (Waah) managed to hit 1 million views in just 8 hours and currently the song has over 129 million views.

“Kwanza niwashukuru kwa Mapenzi yenu ya dhati kwangu.. Pili Mnisaidie kuniambia ni Video ipi umeipenda zaidi? #Yatapita #Zuwena ?,” Diamond posed a question to his fans.

So far, the Zuwena video has accumulated over 3.4 million views within three days of being uploaded on YouTube.

The video was directed by Director Ivan who also was also the brain behind Simba’s video Yatapita.

Just the other day, Chibu Dangote was celebrating his first 2023 single Yatapita which hit 1 million views in 17 hours.

In 2023, the singer has already released three songs; Yatapita, My Baby, and Zuwena.

Currently, the video is trending at number one in more than 5 countries among them; Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Oman, Dubai, the UK, Germany, and Qatar.

The Yatapita song encourages men to keep on hustling no matter the situation.

The WCB Wasafi CEO and founder added that men go through a lot when they are not financially stable urging women to always be patient with their partners.

He added that most men desire to provide for their girlfriends but sometimes lack of finances put them in a tight corner.

“Wimbo huu ukawatie Moyo na kuwafariji wote ambapo tunapitia changamoto mbalimbali za Kimaisha, InshaAllah Mwaka Huu Mwenyez Mungu atujaalie tuweze,” the star added.

While promoting the song, Platnumz opted to walk his fans down memory lane, reminiscing on the day he was dumped for being broke.
