• The two songs have been accorded a warm reception by his fans as the Zuweza video has already hit over 1 million views within hours of being uploaded on YouTube.

Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz has excited a section of his fans after kick-starting the month of love (February) with a double release.

On Friday, Chibu Dangote blessed his fans with two songs – Zuwena and My Baby and they could not help but shower him with praises.

The two songs have been accorded a warm reception by his fans as the Zuweza video has already hit over 1 million views within hours of being uploaded on YouTube.

So far the song has over 1.7 million views and counting.

The two songs come days after Platnumz made a big promise to his fans – assuring them that he is going to hit them after hit –and he is doing just that.

For the year 2023, the WCB CEO is focused on singing love songs and real issues that affect the common Mwananchi.

Just the other day, Simba mentioned that he aspires to make more hits in 2023 than he has ever done before in his career which spans more than 10 years.

“Mwaka huu ufanyaji wangu wa muziki utakuwa ni kama vile yani ndio kwanza nimetokea leo. Ni mwaka ambao shabiki zangu wangu watafurahi kweli kweli.

(“This year my working strategy will be like that of an upcoming artiste who has just been introduced into the game. it’s a year that my fans will be happy indeed),”

The star went on to explain that he will be dropping songs across all genres to take care of all his fans – both local and international. He also promised collaboration in and outside Africa.

“Collaborations za ndani ya Africa na Dunia. Videos za ndani ya Africa na Dunia.

“Ni Mwaka wa Tasnia na Taifa kujivunia kuwa na kiumbe kinachoitwa Nasibu Abdu/Diamond Platnumz/Simba,” Chibu Dangote continued.

His first single in 2023 was Yatapita and it’s a masterpiece.

In the song, he talks about how he was dumped by his first girlfriend Sarah for being broke.

Platnumz made the revelation while promoting his newest tune, which encourages men to keep on hustling no matter the situation.

The WCB Wasafi CEO and founder added that men go through a lot when they are not financially stable urging women to always be patient with their partners.

He added that most men desire to provide for their girlfriends but sometimes lack of finances put them in a tight corner.
