Karim Mandonga gifted 2nd car days after victory in Nairobi

This is the second car the boxer has received following his victory in Nairobi.

• Mandonga aka Mtu Kazi was given the car by a businessman who felt the need to appreciate his efforts in the boxing industry.

• The boxer was given the freedom to pick the car of his choice after being taken to a showroom by the philanthropic businessman.

Tanzanian boxer Karim Mandonga has been gifted his second car in Tanzania days after his victory in Nairobi, Kenya.

Mandonga aka Mtu Kazi was given the car by a businessman who felt the need to appreciate his efforts in the boxing industry.

The boxer was given the freedom to pick the car of his choice after being taken to a showroom by the philanthropic businessman.

“He told me to pick a car that I want and I have settled on a Subaru – the new model. I will be riding a luxurious car,” an excited Mandonga said.

He went on to put up a post saying God’s timing is always the best- thanking all who have supported his journey as a boxer.

“Wakati wa mungu ndio wakati wa sàhihi. Boss sijui ata Niseme kitu gani boss Wangu ila mungu atakulipa mara nyingi zaidi,” he said.

This is the second car the boxer has received following his victory in Nairobi.

Mandonga was given his first car by Tanzanian businessman DickSound.

The businessman had promised the boxer a car only if he defeats Wanyonyi in Nairobi.

“Nimempa kama zawadi siyo kwa ajili ya Ubalozi, alikuja kwangu wakati anaenda kupambana nikamuahidi akishinda nitaweza kumpa gari, wakati akiwa Kenya nikaona video nikamtumia kumwambia umeniangusha ushapigwa, akasema hapana sio kweli Mimi ndio napanda kupambana, hivyo leo tumemkabidhi kumpongeza na kutimiza ahadi” the businessman said.

Upon receiving the car gift Mandonga said;

 “Namshukuru sana DickSound Kwa hili leo ndoto yangu imetimia, Mandonga anaondoka na usafiri Mungu mkubwa”.

Karim Madonga Vs Daniel Wanyonyi

On January 15, Karim Madonga, alias Mtu Kazi, decimated his Kenyan counterpart Daniel Wanyonyi in a super-middleweight bout held at KICC, Nairobi.

Mandonga lived up to his hype of the show after technically knocking out Wanyonyi in the fifth round of the show after Wanyonyi declined to get back to the ring for the next round handing Mandonga victory.

Speaking after the match, Mandonga defended his hype for the match saying it is key in making the game lively.

He said he will back to Kenya for another fight promising to floor the opponent again.

“Mdomo ni ya kupiga promo, nikiingia ulingo iko nafasi ya ngumi,” Mandonga said.

“Narudi tena Nairobi, Kenya hii Aprili ‘kumzika mtu’, raundi ya kwanza kaburi lake liko wapi? Muwekeni pale! Nitakuja na ngumi nyingine, sio Sugunyo tena.”
