The mother of three says the last few years have not been easy especially after she lost her dad and her son.

Through her socials she penned;

"In 2014 I said farewell to my rock- my dad. 2018 I said kwaheri to my grandmother. 2021 I held my precious boy in my arms until he slept.

Shortly after, I bid farewell to my grandfather. These have been HEAVY seasons of grief. Relentless, ugly, unpredictable… but grief did not win.

It didn’t take me out. But boy has it been hard!"

How is she dealing with the loss?

"Come, join me and the amazing @nyawiragachugi as we attempt to unpack the many layers of grief and how we can all work towards moving forward. Healing is a journey, but it is attainable ."

Kambua recently welcomed her rainbow baby, a daughter who we can't wait to see.

Before then she had lost her son Malachi on February, 15th 2021.

The award-winning artist through her Insta Stories posted about how heartbreaking it is for a parent to carry his/her baby's coffin.

" The smallest coffins are the heaviest. One day I will tell you about that. Not today, someday."

Adding;

" If you know someone who has had a miscarriage, a stillbirth, or infant loss call them, text them. Let them know they are loved. Let them know their baby mattered." Kambua advised

Before she got her first child, Kambua had stayed for almost 7 years in marriage without a child.

This she said earned her name with some people as people assumed she couldn't become a mum.

The best thing is that she is having the last laugh, as she enjoys her daughter's cuddles.
