Days after going viral in a photoshopped picture with Oga Obinna, TikToker Official Kinuthia has shyly admitted he is dating.
This is after an edited photo of the two surfaced online.
Obinna posted the original photo with an unidentified lady while on vacation in Mombasa. The edited version, on the other hand, shows Kinuthia’s face lying on Obinna’s chest.
While denying the claims, Kinuthia issued a statement, "Mimi nikaa tu hapa kwa nyumba naenjoy 2023 kidogo kidogo nimeambiwa nikona @ogaobinna Mombasa weeh😂😂😂hii 2023 mniache aki😂😂 @ogaobinna ebu ambia hawa watu 😂”
Obinna also weighed in on it;
"Aki surely hata kama ni Manifesting Kinuthia ni Morio, Yaani he is not the one in the photo. Plus I am a Lesbian I like galz and Kinuthia and I are just friends. I have a lot of friends and family from LMNOP communities and we Love and Respect each other. Huko exit bado mi ni vajo nobody touching, ” Obinna said.
Speaking to content creator Felicity Shiru, Kelvin Kinuthia has now explained more about the photo.
Reacting to the edited picture of him and Oga Obinna, the Tiktoker said;
"Actually by the way watu hawajanotice people thought it was me who edited that photo coz, I was checking out the responses and it seems people thought it was me who edited the picture. But let me just tell you this, we have a family group, me, mum and my sisters. My sister sent that picture to the group and I was like ah "
The picture went viral because Kinuthia had at some point said Oga Obinna is his crush.
"Yes that's true " Kinuthia confessed to Felicity.
"I shared that photo and asked people went crazy, tuanze 2023 kwa Amani "
"I was just home relaxing"
Is he dating?
"I wont say tuko hapo tunaona mtu hatujajua kama iko serious, labda ni uongo, hatutaki kumtaja for now, naeza sema"
He explained why he prefers to keep the relationship private for now.
"Watu wasijali when I know it's serious I will announce, but for now we are just there"
He asked for patience saying he understands people's eagerness for the reveal.
"This is some major news. I know Kenyans want to know who it is "
