Artist Stevo Simple Boy has decided to choose war instead of peace. This is after he released a song on Wednesday night raising issues against some people who have been giving him different advice following the saga of the So Fire Fest show held in Mombasa at the end of last year.

In the show, Stevo was one of the local artists who would perform together with artist Ruger from Nigeria. Comedian Eric Omondi was the MC at the event.

Unfortunately, Stevo was not able to perform with his management saying that he hadn't been paid before he could go on stage which prevented the artist from entertaining fans.

Eric Omondi found himself in the middle of the blowback and gracing the stage while his fellow artist Stevo had not been paid.

For his part, Omondi blamed the management in charge of Stevo Simple Boy while asking them to resign immediately.

Stevo now in the song called 'Haya Basi' has unleashed heavy cannons targeting those who wanted him to fire his management including Eric Omondi.

"“Haya basi, mbona wasiwasi, nasikia walisema nifute meneja. Kumbe hao hao ndio mateja, wanajifanya huku nyuma wanipenda na kumbe hao ndio wananisema,” " a quote from one verse in the song.

The artist also continued to criticize the 'villains' whom he said he would not mention. He said that they called him to the show to perform, but at the end of the show he ate his stomach while those who called him brought him food.

"“Eti Simple kuja shoo, nitakulipa na baada ya shoo nakula matumbo huku wakileta shobo na zogo," the artist sang asking who the president is - targeting Omondi who calls himself the president of African Comedy.
