Eric Omondi has faulted Stivo Simple Boys managment for failing to ensure the rapper got paid for his Mombasa performance.
Stivo Simple Boy did not perform in the Wednesday concert at Wild Waters Mombasa leaving fans disappointed.
The December 28 performance was highly anticipated as Nigerian singer Ruger was also performing.
The controversy now surrounds that failed concert, as Eric Omondi has taken to his Instagram to lay blame on Stivo's management.
Omondi has criticized his MBI management team of not following up on payment for the musician.
"Stivo Simple Boy management must resign immediatelyor I'll have them arrested. How do you bring an artist all the way from Nairobi na hata ajalipwa hata shillingi moja. kwani kazi yako kama manager ni nini. Alafu you only inform me of this at the backstage last minute . Alafu mankula 84,000 worth of food and drinks na Stivo ajalipwa na manampandisha basi. Alafu why does Stivo have four managers," read Omondi's harsh reaction.
Eric has absolved himself of the blame for the mess adding, "Mimi I did my part I spoke to Ruger people and Simple boy people and they were to be paid and in fact, everybody was paid including Ruger, Ndovu Kuu Kusa, and all the Djs. All along I knew Stivo had been paid only for the managers to tell me hajalipwa just as I was calling him to come to the stage."
The embarrassment has not sat well with KOT who have reacted sharply, especially after Stivo apologized for dissapointing his fans.
