Former media personality cum politician Jokate Mwegelo has unveiled her daughter. Jokate says she is now Mama Totoo.

"Her name is Totoo. Call me Mama Totoo 🥰Glory to God," she wrote.

While revealing her baby bump early this month, Jokate encouraged women who are pregnant.

"Hakutakuwa na mwanamke yeyote atakayepoteza mimba wala kuwa tasa katika nchi yenu. Nami nitawajalia maisha marefu.‭‭Kutoka‬ ‭23‬:‭26‬."

Mwegelo was first appointed by former Tanzanian president John Magufuli as DC for Kisarawe. She was later moved to Temeke, Dar Es Salaam by President Samia Suluhu Hassan.

Mwegelo started off as a media personality, musician, and actress. She came into the limelight as an entertainer and later made her shift into politics.
