Marriage is the beginning of a family and a life and a life-long commitment.It is is a privilege and not a “right."

It is a privilege which should be reserved for those who will honor it the way God intends.

It is a covenant that is sealed with unbreakable pledge.

A -pledge that still exists till today- Till death do us part, in sickness and in health, In rich and in poor.

As well, marriage isn't predictable, most hope for the best but ends worst.

2022 has been a rocky year on some celebrity marriages.

Here is a list of Kenya celebrities who got into marriage and ended up regretting their decisions.

1. Idah Alisha

Idah alias Olive is a former mother in law actress.

Early May, she confessed to have been in a violent marriage.

she had gotten married to a churchmen with hopes of a saved relationship.

She briefly described the relationship as an abusive one to Youtuber Lynn Ngugi.

She stated;

"The guy was 28 and I was 21, I did not know him much and I was at the peak of my career.

When I look back I think we had trauma bonding. His dad was very abusive and so was my dad. At the time I did not know much about trauma bonding. When you are raised in an abusive relationship you either become the abuser or the victim."

2. DNG and Yvette

After Radio presenter, DNG, saying "I do" to a long time girlfriend Yvette Nungari, thing started swaying.

He said that things like traditions ,wealth and location where they would stay were the reason behind their fallen marriage.

"I think I fell in love with the idea that this marriage could work since I always wished to settle down and have a family of my own,"

"Fundamental ideological differences made my marriage not work. Things like traditions, locations where we lived, and where the family was to be and wealth," he said.

4 •Frida Kajala

Kajala announced that she regretted getting back together with Harmonize.

The split came just after they had disagreements on the ownership of cars.

Kajala posted on her Instagram page saying how she failed her family and friends.

“Mimi kama mwanamke na binadamu nimeumbwa kupenda na kusamehe pia,ila kwenye hili nastahili kuchekwa, nastahili kubezwa na kudharauliwa pia😌.

"Sipo hapa kujitetea wala kutia huruma ni kweli nilifanya makosa na nimeyagundua makosa yangu, mimi siyo mkamilifu. Hakika nimekosea familia yangu, ndugu zangu, na marafiki zangu. Kutenda kosa si kosa, kosa kurudia kosa. I forgive my X and I’m ready for the next.
