Singer Harmonize jetted into Kenya for his much-anticipated performance at the Solfest. The singer landed at JKIA moments before 1 pm and was received like a hero.
The 'Kwangwaru' singer thanked Sauti Sol and Kenyan music fans for having confidence in him and supporting his career.
"I'm good to everyone. All I wanna do is see how we support each other and take our music to another level."
He was also confronted about split rumors with Tanzanian singer Frida Kajala which he ducked saying,
"Let's talk about the show that's most important we are here for the show."
He added;
"Because we have nothing to do with that tonight. Sol Fest is going down, are you guys ready?"
"Let's do this," clapping hands before he walked away.
On December 13, a few days after her public message of the split, Harmonize responded saying that she had a hidden agenda and that her love for him was not true and could not last.
Harmonize through a friend said that Kajala’s love was not genuine and her leaving him won't affect him negatively.
“Furaha yetu ilikuwa Kajala kuwa na Harmonize lakini hapo baadae tukajua alikua na mambo mengine hatukupenda na sio kwamba tulifurahia uwepo wake na timu yetu … Harmonize pia ameamua kusonga si kutemwe Kajala alikua na nia fiche kabisaa.” he said.
“Kwa sasa tumesahau na tunachapa muziki na pia tunajua kwamba mapenzi ya watu huezi peana ushauri …lakini tunachojua alikua na ajenda zake fiche,” he added.
Kajala now says she will not take him back ever again.
“Sipo hapa kujitetea wala kutia huruma ni kweli nilifanya makosa na nimeyagundua makosa yangu, mimi siyo mkamilifu. Hakika nimekosea familia yangu, ndugu zangu, na marafiki zangu. Kutenda kosa si kosa, kosa kurudia kosa. I forgive my X and I’m ready for the next. Temporary post,” she posted.
