Gospel singer Kambua and her long-term husband Pastor Jackson Mathu, have for years struggled with getting children, and finally, the couple is parents to three children.

Kambua's describes her bitter-sweet motherhood journey

Their first child is a baby boy called Nate Mathu, followed by the late baby Malachi Manundu Muthiga Mathuand a newborn baby girl, Nathalie Nyacira Muthiga Mathu.

The unfortunate passing of her second baby left her scared as she shared her grief on social media and dedicated a precious ornament just for him.

"I chose a morganite as the center stone because it is a rare gemstone, that signifies healing. We surrounded the morganite with diamonds (conflict free & ethical) because diamonds are forever ✨ Signifying my everlasting love. The stones elegantly sit on a rose gold band. 🤍I'm a little emotional as I write this out. I will cherish this forever. Malachi was here and he remains so deeply loved. Thank you Jesus for giving me the great honor of being an angel mom."

The gospel singer was once again blessed with a beautiful baby girl thereafter, as she shared the surprise news to the world.

Through her Instagram page, this news certainly came as a surprise to most of her fans as she has always been a private person.

While the singer shared her good news she also put up an encouragement message to mothers out there encouraging them to not despair:

"He restores us. He heals us. He makes all things beautiful. 🦋

A little over a year ago I held my precious baby boy in my arms as his little body grew cold. I was engulfed in a thick, thick darkness. I got to know heartbreak like I never knew possible. But God. He sat with me in my darkness. And slowly he began to lift me. He reminded me also that years ago I received a doctor’s report that said I could never have children. He reminded me that as the world mocked me He was busy working for my good and His glory...

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy…joy cometh 🦋🖤"

The mother of three known for her kind words of wisdom has since never been able to hide her satisfactory journey of motherhood from her fans as she keeps posting fun conversations with her young son.

Particularly on Mother's day, the soft-spoken singer wrote about how she has faced a bitter-sweet journey;

having lost one and having another physically.

" It’s bittersweet; having a baby in your arms, and having another in heaven."
