Ben Pol: If you meet the perfect woman, Murife run!

Tanzanian singer Ben Pol says he is living his best life since he divorced his Kenyan wife Anerlisa Muigai.

The 'Moyo Mashine' singer was dishing out advise about dating, when he said that he had healed from the heartbreak of divorce.

"Ukiona mtu kila kitu kimenyooka, kipato kujitegemea, muonekano/urembo, heshima/unyeyekevu, akili/maarifa na haitokei siku moja akakukosea, ndugu yangu KIMBIA FASTAA!! na usigeuke nyuma huo ni mtego."

(If you see a person who has everything straight, independent income, appearance/beauty, respect/humbleness, intelligence/knowledge and it doesn't happen one day they wrong you, my brother RUN FASTAA!! and don't turn back that is a trap)

His murife run comment got a fan curious if he was applying this advice to his life. "Ila mwamba unapendeza siku hz tangu uachane na mkenya?"

Ben pol agreed that he glowing saying "uko sahihi".

Other fans also noted that he has even added weight, yet he used to be skinny when married to Anerlisa.

After the breakup, it took months for Ben Pol to recover from the emotional and mental toil eve having to get therapy.

“Those were tough days. I couldn’t sleep, I lost weight, and I tried to go to the gym but it wasn't working. The only thing that did help is reading lots of books, attending therapy sessions, and meeting people."

Hours after he disclosed this, Anerlisa for her part cryptically spoke on her Instagram that bitter people should pray.

"Bitter people. God loves them so should we? Pray for them. They'll find something negative to say about anything positive. They can't be happy for you because they're disgusted with themselves. Don't become bitter with them. Become better and pray for their growth and maturity."

She also added; "Let your past make you better, not bitter."

The wealthy heiress and Pol filed for divorce in 2021 barely a year after their wedding. The two tied the knot in May 2020 at St Gaspar Catholic Church in Mbezi Beach, Tanzania

In the past, Ben Pol has spoken about his troubled marriage saying he wasn't sure if Anerlisa wanted their marriage to work as much as he did.

His giving his side of the story didn't please Anerlisa one bit and she took issue with it telling him to stop discussing their union.

“You know something that most people don’t understand is that marriage is not like any other relationship. Marriage should be respected, you cannot be going all over talking about your marriage carelessly,” she said.
