Speaking in a live interview with Karangu Wa Muraya who visited him in Murang'a county, Mutara told his fans not to believe those allegations.
He also denied claims that he sold his car and drank all the money.
Karangu talked about how bloggers have been spreading lies.

"My enemies are few but those who pray for us are many. People should not spread false information about me. I am not an alcoholic by any means."

His father was in hospital when he passed on and had a huge medical bill.
"Anyone who has fought this fight with me, may you never lack. Let us all be peaceful and maintain peace and stop listening to lies. Singing is part of healing. I lost my parents in 2022 and it has not been an easy journey."

"My fans and men of God do not stop praying for me. I will be back in the studio in 2023."
