Kenyan vibe curator, Savara Africa alias Delvin Mudigi is a Sauti Sols band member who serves as the band's producer, vocalist, and guitarist.
Recently, in an exclusive interview with Mpasho, the veteran musician narrated how there are times in life when someone needs to stand alone and work for themselves.
He started;
"Halafu it comes a time people grow and grow out differently, when you are 18 it's when you get out of home unlike when you are 30. When you are 30, You make different decisions, It's part of growth."
Savara said that Sauti Sol was still one family despite them working on different projects. He said that they came to a consensus and everyone had now to explore and develop their skills.
He added that;
"It was time for us to go and explore our individuality but still be together as a family. Haimanishi Sauti Sol imeisha, hakuna mtu alisimama pale akasema Sauti Sol is done, so everyone is going their own way. It's just being able to create your own individual art."
Before, there was speculation that they had parted ways on a bad motive but they came out strong to show that those were lies.
He finally stressed on alone together vibe, urging people to practice with reasons that, one cannot keep relying on a group or someone for long.
"So right now we are still alone together, everyone has his projects, Bien ana yake but we are still alone together," noted Savara.
"We met in 2002 , we are good friends, that is our greatest achievement actually, watu huuliza what is our greatest achievement?- being able to stick together," he stated.
