Eunice Wanjiru Njoki known as Mammito, is a Kenyan stand-up comedian, actress, writer, and emcee. It is said that she grew up in the slums of Nairobi.

Earlier yesterday, the comedian recounted his past life and it seemed vivid that she underwent some ups and downs to get to where she is currently.

She said that life was so smooth when she was still in her mother's house, being fed and getting all the basic needs despite the challenges her mother was facing then.

With an aid of a good picture, she quoted;

"Before I started returning taxes I was eating my mother’s and grandmother’s money and buying monochrome outfits ( ni monochrome machi machi ni wewe 🤣🤣🤣)."

Mammito is said to have grown up with no father figure.

She one time revealed that her mother who was a tailor was very supportive and hardworking that she really never left his fathers absence.

She clearly mentioned that she started her comedy journey when she was only but 22 years old.

"Here is my first year doing professional comedy @ 22yrs pengting for sure 😜"she noted

She got the name Mammito, from a clique of friends who used to call each other Mammito back in Mount Kenya University.

After university, Mammito started looking for a job as a social worker, but she failed to get one. She had never thought of doing comedy as a career.

After missing out on job opportunities, she auditioned for the Churchill show but  She failed to impress a couple of times.

She lacked courage and stage presence despite her jokes being funny.This continued until she was finally admitted in 2015.

In 2015 during her first open mic performance at the Churchill Show, she had so much stage fright that nobody laughed.

"It’s like I was giving a speech, there was nothing but echo. There is even a time I forgot all my lines, I just looked blankly at the crowd and walked off stage, I was so embarrassed I just cried."She stated.

In 2017, Mammito was scheduled to perform at the three day Kigali International Comedy Festival event in November.

She has been so persistent something that has made her remain relevant in the industry.
