Kleptomaniax reunites for Nyashinski’s concert & fans can’t keep calm (Video)

Over the weekend rapper, Nyashinski treated his fans to a pleasant surprise after inviting on-stage members of the famed group Kleptomaniax.

The second Edition of Shincity Live went down in Eldoret and Nyash used the opportunity to reunite Klepto for a splendid performance.

Partygoers were over the moon, seeing the three (Nyashinski, Collo, and Roba) perform together after so many years.

Rapper Femi One who was part of the acts that graced the ShinCity stage expressed excitement watching the three perform together.

Sharing their video Femi Wrote; “My highlight of Shincity ! I saw klepto perform live for the first time! my heart is full . Greatness tupu 🙌🏽🙌🏽,”.

An excited Nyashinski also put up a video, captioning it with his lyrics “Klepto si mtarudiana lakini

hatujawai achana, tunarudiana, kwanini? This is Kleptomaniax live @shincitylive Eldoret!,”.

The post excited a section of his fans who joined the conversation lauding the star for bringing back their favorite music group.

Who is Kleptomaniax?

Kleptomaniax was a rap group from Nairobi – formed back in 1999.

The group joined the Ogopa DJs label and released their first single, "Freak It" in 2002, which was followed by "Maniax Anthem" and "Haree

In 2004 the group released another single "Tuendelee", which became their biggest until now.

Their debut album M4E (an abbreviation for Maniax Forever) was released in 2005. Later that year the group received an MTV Europe Music Awards nomination for Best African Act.

In 2007 Kleptomaniax toured the US at a time they were being managed by Fakii Liwali.

After 2007, the group had a break while their members engaged in solo projects. They later made a comeback that did not last for long.

Nyashinski and Roba then migrated to the US. Nyash worked as a truck driver for 10 years before making a comeback in the Kenyan music scene.

On the other hand, Roba is still based in the US doing business. Collo stayed in the music industry doing solo projects until recently when he joined the gospel industry.
