Kenyan actress Sarah Hassan has been recognized in Uganda's style and fashion award as a nominee in the most stylish personality category.

She will face off with Etania Malaika, Tenshi Sandrah Twinoburyo, Evelyn Kironde Bettinah,  Tianah Sharon ONatasha Sinayobye, Anele Mdoda, Nana Akua Addo, Official Doyin, Toke Makinwa, and  Allysyn Audu.

The Crime and Justice actress was thankful for this major recognition.

The nominees were announced this past weekend, as the voting process also opened. The award ceremony will go down on 16th December at the Kampala Serena hotel.

Other Kenyans nominated are Hali Odour and Nancy Mwai in the female fashionista of the year category.

Recognized as Africa’s biggest Fashion Awards and red-carpet event, the “8th ASFAs” celebrate groundbreaking fashion creatives, influencers, and contributors across Africa who have shaped the fashion industry through the pandemic, under the theme “The Awakening”.

Sarah Hassan has been making major waves in the acting industry. Below is the list of awards she has ever won over the years;

• Best actress 2014 (Now That You’re here), 
• Best Tv Host at the Kalasha Awards 2014 (Discovery+ 254), 
• Best East African Journalist 2015 at the Swahili Fashion week in Dar es Salaam (Mashariki Mix and Maisha Max)
• Best Actress at Kalasha Awards 2019 (Plan B)
• Best Film at the AMVCA Awards in Nigeria 2019 (Plan B)
• Best Film at the Kalasha Awards 2020 (40 Sticks), Best Actress in a film 2021 (Just In Time), Best Actress in a series 2021 (Crime And Justice), Best Film 2021(Just In Time)

Sarah wrote, produced, co-directed, and acted in a short film, ‘The Company You Keep’ in 2018 that saw her bag;

• 4 Best Actress Awards at different award shows.
• 4 Best short film awards, including Best short film and Best Actress at the LA Shorts Awards 2018 and Best Actress at the Top Shorts Awards in LA 2018.
