A female officer who came to the rescue of a stranded man four days ago has been feted by her boss.
Corporal Christine Mugambi several days ago gave fare to a man robbed in Nairobi after a trip to Kitui.
The man Charles Waweru on November 1 at 5:30 am, alighted from a PSV and unfortunately due to the increased crime rate in Nairobi, was robbed of his personal effects.
He made his way to the Jogoo House A, the Headquarters where he met Corporal Christine at the reception.
She was very helpful and gave him her phone to call his people, plus the bus fare.
The National Police Service has commended her and explained to Kenyans who she is.

Christine is under the SGB Unit of the Administration Police Service. She previously worked on secondment at the National Cohesion and Integration Commission performing customer care duties. She holds a Diploma in Secretarial Studies from Kiambu Institute of Science and Technology (KSSI) and has an unbridled passion for front office duties with experience spanning about 8 years.
Her kindness and professionalism are something many Kenyans have said they have experienced from hr.
