Former Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has taken to his socials to yet again let the public know that his pockets are not as full as they used to be.

We all know Sonko plays too much but this is the 3rd time in less than three weeks he is saying this.

Taking to his official Twitter page he posted a video of himself in a barber shop getting a fresh haircut. However, the place looked dingy not a place you'd expect the flamboyant businessman to be at.

He went ahead to caption the video, "leo nanyolewa kwa kinyozi ya 300/= Nitafuliza tu sahii ( today I am getting my hair cut at a cheap barber shop that charges only 300/= at the end of it all I'm going to take a mobile loan to pay.)"

Just four days ago the former Nairobi governor was online asking Kenya Airways to let him hop on a piloting job after their pilots went on strike.

"KQ management team, if the pilots continue with their strike I don't mind kupiga masquad nipate kakitu (I fly a few routes so that I can earn a few cents)," started Mbuvi.

He went on to insist that he had experience with flying air crafts by posting a video of himself in the cockpit flying reassuring them that they shouldn't fear or question his capabilities.

"I have a very good experience, I can fly any of your airlines to any destination worldwide," wrote the father of three.

Sonko went on to add that if they were game then he would be willing to start his new job with immediate effect.

He went on to state that he was ready to start with local flights - Nairobi to Mombasa.

"Hebu nijaribu asubuhi na Nairobi-Mombasa or Nairobi-Kisumu," the last part of Sonko's job appeal to KQ read.

Two weeks ago Mombasa youth asked the father of three to buy them lunch but the politician insisted he was broke. The compelling youth pressed on and Sonko ended up taking a fuliza loan of 22 thousand shillings to come through for them

He said, "I'm broke, to be honest, you guys just stay put and you will see me fuliza. You are 108 people so I'm going to fuliza 22,000/= for you guys."

Either way, we know if things do get bad he could always sell off say maybe his gold-plated toilet or one of those fancy cars his lastborn likes showing off at the family garage.
