The father of 4's problems began in October during an interview on Revolt TV’s “Drink Champs” series that was posted and then removed on October 16.
During the episode, Ye repeatedly blamed “Jewish media” and “Jewish Zionists” for numerous alleged misdeeds, stating that “Jewish people have owned the Black voice” and that “the Jewish community, especially in the music industry…they’ll take us and milk us till we die.”
The comments included repeated attacks on “Jewish media” — invoking the anti semitic claim that Jewish people disproportionately control the media — and Jewish people in general.
He tried to double down on his comments while speaking to Piers Morgan after that. He however apologized “for the pain that I’ve caused and the confusion that I cause.”
Days later, he once again apologized in an interview with MIT research scientist Lex Fridman.
He then went back to his tirade, with his theories being shared on a spreadsheet that he said highlighted Jewish media executives in red.
The increase in his controversial comments online and during subsequent interviews resulted in his losing a wave of business deals from his lucrative Adidas partnership to his GAP deal.
