Akothee's astute warning to her fans

Singer Akothee has asked female followers to stop copying everything they see her doing. The mother of five stated that people should be careful on what they pick from her lifestyle adding that she is not the measure of success.

Akothee added that what worked for her might not work for someone else.

"Remember we both have different backgrounds, upbringing, problems education, hustling tactics ,motherhood, divorce, separation, relationship. Different routes different people, We only have a common Goal "Success"," she started.

Akothee advised her followers that they could still be successful in their marriage and so they should never try following her in her journey.

She added that although she is in a relationship, she will remain the president of single mothers as she successfully raised her 3 older children without a man.

She warned anyone who wants to take her title saying that it was her brand.

"Don't underestimate your relationship, it could be someone's admiration. I used to admire married couples, and I wished to find love and settle in my home with my husband. I will still remain the president of Single mothers " This is A successful story of a mother who raised her 3 children with out the privilege of the other partner " this seat is Not a political seat , it doesn't expire nor voted . even If I wed today. This seat will never be vacant PRESIDENT OF SINGLE MOTHERS IS A BRAN."

In an interview with Radio Maisha's Mwende Macharia this week, Akothee said that her mission in her recent visit abroad was to get a baby.

However, Akothee had a couple of concerns- namely whose sperm it would be, and what kind of a man he is. The procedure was expensive, but for Kenya's richest musician, this wasn't an issue.
