WCB President Diamond Platnumz has welcomed his former signee Rayvanny to the Billionaires club.

Vanny Boy used his socials to announce that his status had changed from a millionaire to a billionaire courtesy of a new deal he signed with Mziiki – a South African Company. 

Upon seeing the news, Platnumz joined the conversation, welcoming his former signee to the Billionaires Club.

“Vanny Baaaaaay! Welcome to the Billionaire Club! 🔥👑,” Chinbu Dangote reacted to Rayvanny’s new deal.

Early this week, Raymond Shaban Mwakyusa, real name, signed a distribution deal with Mziiki. 

 “Mama your son is a billionaire Now !! Am so happy to sign my first Big distribution deal in the world with my family @mziiki “Mama mwanao ni bilionea sasa 🙏🙏🙏🙏 thanks God ,big thanks to all my fans for supporting me Get ready for #Chui am coming @Mziiki @ziiki_southside 📣📣📣📣📣,” Vanny Boy.

Rayvanny's WCB Exit

The singer parted ways with the Diamond-owned record label after six years.

“It’s been six years since we started working together. My team, my family WCB Wasafi, love, and unity have been very instrumental in the success of our team.

"I have learned a lot and also we have achieved a lot together. I was the first Tanzanian artiste to win a BET award. I have been the first artiste to perform on big platforms like the MTV EMAs stage, Dubai Expo, and many more," Rayvanny said in part.

In his exit message, Vanny Boy thanked Diamond for supporting his dream and propelling him to international success.

He paid at least Sh40 million before being allowed to leave WCB Wasafi. He was signed to the label in 2016.

He became the second artiste in East Africa to win a BET Award.
