The alleged death of Nigerian singer Davido and fiancée Chioma's son Ifeanyi Adeleke broke out with a lot of speculations and uncertainty as the two have not spoken about the loss as of now.

The 3-year-old kid, Ifeanyi, is alleged to have drowned in a Swimming pool in Lagos Nigeria when the parents were allegedly out in the care of his caretakers.

Before the untimely demise, Davido had written a sweet message to his only son.

"I pray with all my heart that God grants you perfect health and pure happiness for as long as humanly possible. You will grow to be greater than Me, Happy birthday, son," read a heartfelt post.

In addition to that, on his birthday, the singer and his adorable son went out in merry to celebrate the special day.

A video shared on Davido's Instagram captures a jovial Ifeanyi jamming to Tekno Miles's song Enjoy.

Despite the news going viral on social media, Davido and his lover have not said anything yet.

At the same time, netizens have expressed different views on who should be blamed after a Twitter user made a thread explaining timelines to Ifaenyi's alleged death.

"What baffles me the most is how the domestic staff are so quick and bold to leak this information without waiting for his parents to do it first but couldn’t carry out the simple job of protecting that young blossoming flower, a job they are heavily paid way beyond minimum wage for. Some domestic staff can act as a tool for the enemies. I hope they are all arrested and meted a befitting punishment," read a post by a controversial Twitter influencer Dr. Penking.

US-based Nigerian Comedian and Davido's close ally Williams Uchemba used his socials to confirmed to Netizens that indeed Davido had lost his son.

“I said I won’t believe anything on SM until i personally conform myself. I prayed for it to be a lie. I am upset, pained and confused. Nobody deserves to feel this pain,”

"Please Say a Prayer for David, Chioma and the entire family. Nobody deserves this kind of pain. Rest up Little one. 💔💔," Williams Uchemba said.

Here are some of the reactions to the post:

Tobi Holloway,ACCAEveryone is at fault here in my humble opinion. Most “rich” parents should have learnt from D’banj. Pool inside the house with toddlers is a NO NO, with kids, you can never be careful enough. May God console the parents. I’ve lost a child and the feelings CANNOT be explained.

Chekwas UcheWhile I agree that the minders were grossly irresponsible. The parents are to be blamed too. The responsibility of parents are to take care of children. Parenting is a responsibility that all parents owe their children.

Richard OshogwemohI really blame Chioma for this. Her sole duty is to be with her son looking after him, taking him to anywhere she's going. She doesn't owe davido anything other than that.

However, this post has sparked reactions online and born a blame game on who was responsible for the death of

the playful lad.
