Kaka empire female signee Femi One took to her Instagram page to thank the helping hands that have helped her traverse the music scene to unexpected levels.

Those people are of course King Kaka and Dennis Njenga (Co founder and Managing Partner of Kaka Empire).

The heartfelt caption read:

"So much love and respect for these two gentlemen. I look back on our ‘my’ musical journey and just smile (sometimes I cry ) 😅 My heart is filled with so much gratitude.@thekingkaka @dennisnjenga ingieni showroom mchague gari mnataka!"

Femi One  was signed to Kaka Empire in 2013 after rubber stamping her name in the industry through her Ligi Soo Remix.

The female rapper has since maintained her place among great female emcees, not taking the chance for granted releasing hit song after hit song.

The stylish rapper has collaborated with big names in the Kenyan music industry such as Nyashinski in the song 'Properly' released in Nov 2021.

With gengetone artist Mejja in the song 'Utawezana' released back in April 2020. The song became a Tik Tok sensation and paved way for Kenyan star Azziad who became well-known after dancing to the song.

Her latest song 'Hepi' was produced by Bern Music and also became a Tik Tok hit sound shortly after being released in June.

Other artists signed under this brand include; Rapper Timmy Tdat, songbird Avril,comedian  Owago Onyiro, boy band Jadi and  

In spite of singing alone, the rapper also, Femi One also made history by becoming the first African Female Brand Ambassador for Monster Energy Drink in 2021.

What has greatly helped the rapper to keep going is her relentless energy, dedication and her much needed attitude to keep up with her hip-pop singing career.
