Kenyan fashion designer and CEO Melina Gold has expressed discontentment with the type of outfits that most content creators and influencers wear to red-carpet events.
She argues that most of them show up in 'low budget outfits'.
The pretty Instagram sensation went ahead to explain this as the reason she never honors invites to some of the events.
"Hii Kenya vitu mnavaa kwa award events waah" the designer bluntly criticized.
She went on to ask why anyone would be stingy to invest in themselves in matters of fashion.
"Y'all can't invest in your own image like y'all are being stingy on spending on your own self, some low budget outfits, shoes, etc," the fashion model stated.
Her fashion sense has driven her to design for big names in the showbiz industry with the company selling and delivering envious looks.
These include people like Eric Omondi who always looks sophisticated and never shows up with the same pattern or style.
Some other celebrities who have interacted with the designer include Actor and content creator Foi Wambui, singer Nadia Mukami, rapper Khalighraph Jones, and Nigerian songbird Guchi.
All in their music videos respectively and many other influential names in the entertainment.
