On Wednesday, October 5, Vice President Rigathi Gachagua laid to rest his late brother Jack Reriani.

The news of his passing surfaced on September 25. In their isolated house in Hiriga Village, Mathira Constituency, Nyeri County, the deceased was laid to rest.

People expressed sympathy to the family for their loss. Rigathi lamented the loss of his older brother, a man who had an important parental role to play.

Rigathi spent time with local voters before the funeral, thanking them for standing by his family during their difficult time.
