Singer Kevin Bahati Kioko has finally broken his silence by releasing a new track 'Mambo ya Mhesh'
Bahati had announced he was breaking the silence after a long silence who had just come from a political loss.
The release of the song attracted mixed reactions from fans who had camped in Bahati’s YouTube channel waiting for him to make big 'announcement'.
He has been missing in action since he lost the August General elections.
In the comment section, Bahati told his fans to forget about him being in politics as he is back in music.
" Hii Mambo Ya Mhesh Wekeni Kando.... THE KING IS BACK!!! Tell Me..What Happened While I Was Away???"
Bahati was vying for Mathare MP seat under the Jubilee party.
Fans were worried about him especially after his friend controversial singer Ringtone Apoko alleged that he was depressed.
Apoko alleged that the Bahatis have even called him for help and to pray for them on different occasions.
"Bahati does not want to accept that he lost elections. Diana has even called me, saying Bahati wants to commit suicide," he said.
A close source to Word Is had shut down the rumors by saying the Bahatis had decided to keep it low as they rebrand and give time to the new addition to their family.
"Bahati did not want to be reminded of the past, and so he took some time off social media just to be there for his expectant wife, but there is nothing big they are going through," the source said.
