Eric Omondi is trending after criticizing Kenyan music.

In his latest comments, Omondi suggested that Kenyan music is not regarded elsewhere in the world because of its focus on showbiz.

"So Apple Music released the Top 100 Songs in Kenya and only two are Kenyan and both belong to this guy!!! Let me explain to you why Bien is the only Kenyan on this list.

He understands showbiz and he knows what the people want but he doesn't want others to get to where he is and that's why he fights my course so bitterly and passionately."

Eric suggested Kenyan musicians don't work hard, or perhaps lack passion resorting to unethical means to push music.

"Enyewe Witchcraft manifests in different forms. While Bien disagrees with me, he knows am right and is implementing the same things he is disagreeing with.

Kama hio sio uchawi na roho chafu then I dont know what is. Bien is doing the right thing but he doesn't want others to do the same ndio ikue tu ni yeye.

I told you bien ni wale watu usoma usiku kama kila mtu amelala lakini mkiamka anawaambia "Twendeni tucheze Football"!!!

Bien is a book we must all study to fully Understand Ingenuity, Hardwork and Witchcraft."

Khaligraph took to his Instagram to react to Eric Omondi's comments.

He also encouraged artistes to keep on their trade and not let criticism deter them

"Lets keep pushing, Tunapanda juu pole pole and To all the aspiring Musicians on the Come up, Don't let them demotivate you, Online criticism is needed for growth but that should never give you the impression that people are not doing okay, we came in this game with nothing and used this Music to change our lives, let's strive to make it better, so far so good.. #respecttheogs"

Several other musicians also supported Khaligraphs' thoughts.

Femi One, Prezzo, Nameless, Kagwe Mungai all agreed with Khaligraph.

Bien Aime also bashed Omondi who has since responded.

"Wameanza kupeana Excuses kama kawaida. Just do as I say and you'll see the beautiful Results. It's soo simple just wake up and do the NEEDFUL.1. GOOD MUSIC2. GOOD POLICY3. SHOWBIZ4. SHOWBIZ5. SHOWBIZ"
