Mulamwah's ex Sonie opens up on battling suicidal thoughts

Carrol Muthoni, Mulamwah's ex- girlfriend says post partum depression almost pushed her to commit suicide.

The soft spoken beauty is mother to a girl who turns a year old on Saturday.

Speaking during an interview with Elizabeth Ngigi, Muthoni who is known as Sonnie by her fans shared that 2022 has been the toughest year in her life.

“I lost so many gigs at that time since most brands do not want to associate with drama,” she said, adding that job opportunities are now opening up and she is hoping for the best.

“My daughter is turning one year over the weekend and she is still signing deals and we gonna reveal soon,” she said.

“If I am still alive, it is by the grace of God.”

Carrol also opened up that at some point last year, she was suicidal, but a friend saved her life.

“It was not easy and the only reason I did not quit social media was that I was afraid I would not feed my child,” she said.

“I had to learn to grow a thick skin. I was suicidal because of postpartum depression and other things. My baby was barely a month old then.”

In a recent Q and A segment with her fans Sonnie said she was done having kids.

On Saturday evening, Carol Sonnie on Instagram's popular segment Ask me a question, opened up about any topic.

Besides her work and one curious fan asked her if she has plans for any more children. "Keila is all grown up...now no 2. when?"

She also recently shaved her signature dreadlocks to the shock of many. She is selling them for 300,000.
