Musician Dar Mjomba is admitted at Mathare Referral Hospital and in need of your help. The 'Shukurani' singer has been battling severe depression and according to his mother, the singer needs to undergo therapy.

And this is where their challenge is. The family needs your help to raise funds for this much needed therapy.

Gospel musician Alice Kamande made a public appeal on the family's behalf, writing,

"Friends I honestly have a heavy heart and it took me a while to write this and that concerns Dar Mjomba , you know him and some of you are great fans of his music , we collaborated on a song called  'Shukurani' . I know that this song has been a blessing to you. I urge you to mention him in your prayers."

The Mathare raised artiste desperately requires treatment to manage the mental issue with Alice further adding,

"Dar needs 150K  for his treatment .My prayer is that we can partner with his family who needs our help since they are quite strained financially. Kindly I would urge you , let's help him get the necessary treatment he needs.

And just in case you are there and have a facility that would accommodate him please let me know or DM me. I believe in his God given talent and calling, he has to fulfil his purpose, He has a great future ahead of Him," she wrote.

Dar's last social media update was on august 4th where he hinted about his life

"When You are down Some won't Understand you..Some Won't Support you..Some Won't Care if you are down in the dumps..But No matter what others put you through,you Creator will always be there for you.He Knows Every Moment Of Your Struggles.he Will Compensate You You Greatly"

Dar took a one-year music hiatus after failing to make an impact, and after his father told him that he should consider another career.
