Tanzanian singer Ali Kiba has updated his fans about his positive Covid test diagnosis.
In a video on Snapchat, Ali Kiba said that he was feeling much better since the announcement that he had to postpone his plans.
Ali Kiba provided the update while driving a vehicle.
"Guys thanks so much thanks so much you guys are the *inaudible*. I'm doing good ila nilikuwa hoi taaban taaban alhamdulilahi. Nimeanza kupona. Sasa hivi naendelea vizuri ila nilikuwa hoi taaban."
Ali Kiba was forced to cancel his USA tour that was scheduled to start this September.
The ‘Mwana’ hitmaker announced the cancellation in a statement posted on his Instagram stories saying,
“To all my dear fans who have been impatiently waiting for the commencement of my ‘Only One King US Tour’, 2022 which was to commence on 2nd September, I’m truly saddened and devastated to say that I have tested positive for Covid-19.”
King Kiba added,
“We are forced to postpone and reschedule to the soonest day possible. Nothing is more important to me than the health of my band, crew, and you, my fans.”
“Until then I hope everyone stays safe and takes all necessary precautions. Inshallah, I will see you very soon,” read the letter.
The 'Mwana' hitmaker's tour was to begin from September 2, 2022, to October 1, 2022, with the artiste performing in different states like Washington, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Des Moines, Atlanta, Lexington, Manchester, Chicago, Dallas, and Houston.
The hitmaker released his third album dubbed the Only One King in 2021, featuring fellow African stars like Patoranking, Sauti Sol, and Khaligraph Jones.
