Eric Omondi's message to Ruto & Raila ahead of Supreme Court ruling

The Supreme Court will rule on the presidential petition hearing at 12 p.m.

Comedian Eric Omondi has urged the two presidential candidates, Raila Odinga and William Ruto to respect the verdict set to be delivered by the Supreme Court at noon.

Speaking to SPM Buzz, the self-proclaimed President of comedy said today's decision will help Kenyans move forward.

He also advised Kenyans to be calm after the ruling - promising to work with whoever will be declared the winner.

"This message is to Kenyans and to or two presidential aspirants.

"You consider the situation that we have in Kenya, the ruling will be made and it has been made before and we have been here before," Omondi said in part.

He continued; Whatever the ruling, if they decided that that the president is William Ruto, congratulations and we pray that you will hold our hands. We will support you as the artiste community of this country to the maximum to ensure that you achieve whatever you have promised this country in your manifesto,".

Omondi also had a message for the Azimio la Umoja Presidential candidate Raila Odinga.

"The same to Azimio leader Raila Odinga, if you win the case and you are declared the president-elect, we will move forward and support you. If neither of you wins, please let us do the honorable decisions," he stated.

The Judiciary has this morning announced that the Supreme Court will rule on the presidential petition hearing at noon on Monday.

The seven-judge bench is expected to issue its rulings, which will be announced in front of the Supreme Court.

The seven include; Chief Justice Martha Koome, Philomena Mwilu (vice president) Njoki Ndung'u, Issac Lenaola, Smokin Wanjala, Mohammed Ibrahim, and William Ouko.

Before today's decision, Koome officially adjourned the presidential petition hearing on Friday.
