Kenyan Boy Band Sauti Sol stole the show at the 18th Kwita Izina ceremony in Rwanda with their perfectly-fitted traditional outfits (Mushanana).
The Award-winning group was among celebrities who graced a colorful gorilla naming event at the foothills of the Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda’s Musanze District.
The annual event is commonly referred to as Kwita Inzina - which means - to give a name in Kinyarwanda.
Sauti Sol used their social media pages to share moments captured from the occasion and Kenyans were quick to notice their dazzling outfits.
The group became the first Kenyans to name a whole Gorilla family in Rwanda alongside football stars Didier Drogba, Gilberto Silva, and Juan Pablo Sorin.
“What an amazing day and evening spent courtesy of the @rdb_rw and @visitrwanda. We had the great honor of being the first ever to name a whole gorilla family during the 18th Kwita Inzina ceremony. Joined by some of our idols @didierdrogba @gilbertosilva @jpsorin6 we couldn't be happier to be part of history,” Sauti Sol wrote.
