President-elect Dr. William Ruto is the most followed person in Kenya, commanding a following of 5.1 million people on his person Twitter handle.

The second, person on the list is Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga, followed by Miguna Miguna, Larry Madowo and Kipchumba Murkomen - they all have 2.3 million.

Citizen TV’s Jeff Koinange takes pride in having a 2.1 million followers while political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi.

TV personality Larry Madowo leads the pack when it comes to celebrities with most followers on Twitter followed closely by Jeff Koinange, Lupita Nyong'o and Julie Gichuru.
