We all know when it comes to fashion and style, there is no denying that Tiwa Savage, is one of East Africa's celebrities who never slacks.
Tiwa Savage who is a singer, songwriter, and actress has always intended to look as chic as ever. This time she was spotted holding one of the most expensive ladies' handbags in the world.
The popular Nigerian singer traveled to the UK some weeks ago and seemed to have had much fun while there where she treated herself to some pricey shopping the bag being one of them.
She shared some photos on social media and in one of the photos, she posed inside what appeared to be a boutique donning a sporty chic look.
She wore a white shirt and a pair of grey pants over a pair of white sneakers. Sporting a long trenchcoat, she held a Maison Goyard bag which according to reports, the bag does not come cheap!
Tiwa said the luxurious bag cost her a total of 5 Million Naira which when converted to Kenyan money, approximately stands at 1.42 Million Kshs.
Research shows that the bag is designed by a Parisian trunkmaker who is well known as Maison Goyard.
Here are some of the details about the bag;
Goyard is a French trunk and leather goods maker. It was established in 1853 in Paris, and previously doing business as Martin (Pierre-François Martin founded the House of Martin in 1792).
Tiwa is pictured holding what appears to be a very rare design of the Goyard Saigon full structure bag and according to Posh mark, it is retailing for a whopping N2.4 million ($6,000).
Not so long ago the "Koroba" hitmaker had also requested the most expensive handbag in the world (Birkin bag) after someone volunteered to buy her flowers.
She then believed that in case she requested the bag she might as well have it should she ask for it.
The reason why the Birkin bag is one of the most expensive ladies' handbags in the world is that the supply is restricted to special clients, resulting in wait lists that can be as long as six years.
With a supply much less than the demand, it’s only natural that this fuels the price growth.
