Wasafi Record's boss Diamond Platnumz through his Instagram page just revealed how much it would cost his signee and alleged girlfriend, Tanzanian songstress Zuchu if she decided to leave his music label.
Replying to a comment from a curious netizen Diamond revealed following Zuchu's huge following and the big numbers she has been stacking would cost her billions.
The fan identified as qwixa_azz asked the Wasafi Records boss: "@diamondplatinumz @officialzuchu akitaka kutoka atadaiwa bilioni mblili maana sasa hivi ni msanii mkubwa baada ya biggy ( so Diamond, if Zuchu wanted to leave the label right now how much would you demand from her because she is a bigger artist than Biggy right now)"
To which the 31-year-old Kwangwaru hitmaker replied saying, " aahh huyo si chini ya 10 billion si unaona manamba yake huko mjini Youtube baba ( For her nothing less than 10 billion, like you guys can see the huge numbers she is racking on the Youtube streets)"
10 billion Tanzanian shillings roughly translates to around 514 million Kenyan shillings!
Bruh that is crazy! Especially considering that Zuchu is his girlfriend.
Well Diamond did recently refer to himself as Zuchu's husband, cementing the rumors that the Wasafi boss was in a deed dating his signee.
This, he did while commenting on a Wasafi post who had shared a video of him entertaining a crowd during his recent performance in Portugal.
He simply wrote, "That's zuuh's husband."
This comes a month after one of Wasafi's biggest signee Rayvanny was charged TSh800 million (KSh40 million) following his bid to terminate his contract.
The former Wasafi signee Rayvanny was allegedly charged another TSh50 million (KSh2.5 million) for performing at Nandy's concert before he was cleared by the record label.
Back in 2020, after Rich Mavoko quit the label, his sister said he was asked by Diamond Platnumz to pay Tsh500 million (Sh23 million) to be allowed to terminate the contract with the label.
