Kyallo sisters Betty, Mercy, and Gloria have reminisced on how life became tough after their dad left the country for greener pastures.

Speaking in their reality show, Kyallo Culture, Betty said she played the biggest sister to Gloria, who was very young then.

"The part that I play as Gloria's mum comes when it's about money," she said.

Betty described her relationship with her dad as very tight.

"My dad gave me my first sip of alcohol. We have a cordial relationship," Betty said.

Mercy said her dad was her best friend.

"There is a way we understood each other and had our language."

Betty added that her dad was a present dad in their lives but when he left her mum struggled to even afford their meal.

"My mum was devastated and for some time, we were struggling, not eating the best meals at dinner, like we used to eat pumpkin and strong tea at night," Betty said.

Gloria said if her dad was around she would have had a different personality.

"My mum gave me so much freedom to be me and I don't think this would have happened if dad was around," Gloria said.

In the reality show, Kyallo Culture Betty also talked about how she has been heartbroken many times to believe any relationship is permanent.

"If I am dating someone right now, I would be like, for today we are okay," she said.

The mother of one said her previous relationship was happy but it was not long-lived.

"I don't mourn a relationship. I move on very fast," she said.

"I shower quick and starts again. I will go to my phone book and check, what was this other guy saying three months ago, and be like, 'i dialled your number by mistake....' I don't mourn about relationships."
