Nixon Kiprotich Korir who was the incumbent member of parliament for the last 5 years in Langata acknowledged Jalang'o's triumph over him in a magnanimous Facebook post.

Nixon was well-known in Kenya as arguably the most handsome member of parliament with the politician topping many lists for Kenyan ladies out there.

Nixon was married to Berryl Zoraima and together they have adorable kids, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree after all.

But what many might not know is that Nixon also has the brains to back up his looks. 

Nixon also worked in the office of the deputy president as the secretary of youth Affairs from 2014 to 2017. 

He graduated from Moi High School Kabarak in 2004 and enrolled in the University of Nairobi in 2006.

He later qualified as a lawyer, having graduated from the University of Nairobi in December 2010.

Nixon Korir will go down in history as the first Kalenjin to be elected as a Member of Parliament in Nairobi county.
