Babu Owino has been re-elected as the MP for Embakasi East with the MP handily beating his opponents, Francis Mureithi and Michael Ogada.

Babu who is not known for his humility was characteristic in his jubilation and mocked his defeated competition, cheekily writing,

"Thank you the great People of Embakasi East Republic for RE-ELECTING ME. I have defeated my UNWORTHY OPPONENTS."

Before adding,

"EMBAKASI EAST REPUBLIC RESULTS.1.BABU OWINO-60856 Votes 2.FRANCIS MUREITHI-20152 VotesThanks to my People."

Babu joins a list of MP's who were able to defend their seats .

Others include Junet Mohamed ( Suna East),Tim Wanyonyi ( Westlands), Ndindi Nyoro  (Kiharu Constituency).

Naisula Lesuuda  (Samburu West Constituency).

His many followers congratulated him on his victory with many proud that hewould be in parliament again.

Babu's victory was never a certainty considering his shooting debacle involving DJ Evolve that occurred two years ago.
