Controversial musician Ringtone showed up at Milimani Primary school some minutes to 10:00 am to cast his vote.

Before voting, Apoko was spotted reading his Bible as he queued. Ringtone also called on other celebrities to come out and vote;

"Watu watu kama KRG, najua walala. Najua Stivo Simple Boy hajabrush meno.

Mi najua Khaligraph saa hii anawatch TV. Mi najua saa Eric Omondi anapaka makeup. Please Eric Omondi osha makeup, utoke upige kura," Ringtone claimed.

Other celebrities who have announced that they have voted include;

Willis Raburu and comedian Crazy Kennar.

In the morning, most celebrities shared peaceful messages to their fans asking their fans to come out and vote for their leaders.

Janet Mbugua wrote; "I hope that we can move to voting and going back to work the same day in future, without fears or reservations or ‘what if’s’. That’s the Kenya I pray for.This country is so incredible and full of hope; we decide how to guard that. We decide.Mungu Mbele."
